(Wait one moment, please.)
3b. Enseguida le atiendo.
(I will attend to you shortly.) Note: Literally, it says, "Immediately, I attend to you," but it is understood to mean "shortly," or "in a moment."
4. Tome asiento, por favor.
(Take a seat, please.)
5. ¿Me permite ver su identificación?
(May I see your/his/her identification? Literally: Do you permit me to see your/his/her identification?)
5a. ¿Su hijo/hija tiene cita hoy?
(Does your son/daughter have an appointment today?)
6. ¿Cuál es el nombre del paciente?
(What is the name of the patient?)
7. ¿Puede mostrarme su tarjeta de seguro o medicaid?
