(Calm down please.)
2. Dígame su nombre.
(Tell me your name.)
3. ¿Cuántos años tiene Usted?
(How old are you?) Note: Literally, it says, "how many years do you have?"
4. Hable despacio y claramente por favor.
(Speak slowly and clearly please.)
5. Si Usted no puede hablar, no corte la llamada.
(If you cannot speak, do not hang up. Literally: "do not disconnect the call.")
6. ¿Dónde vive?
(Where do you live?) Note: This also means, "where does he or she live?"
7. Dígame la dirección de la emergencia.
(Tell me the address of the emergency.)
8. Responda a mis preguntas con un sí o con un no.
(Respond to my questions with a yes or a no.)
9. ¿Está Usted solo?
(Are you a alone?) Note: If speaking to a female caller, you would say "sola."
10. ¿Está Usted herido?
(Are you injured?) Note: If speaking to a female caller, you would say "herida."
11. Señor...
(Sir...)
12. Señora...
(Ma'am...)
13. Joven...
(Young person...) Note: This may be used when addressing an adolescent or very young adult.
14. ¿Hay varias personas con problemas?
(Are there many people with problems?) Note: Depending on the context, this could mean "people in trouble," or "people involved."

(Is there a fire?)
16. ¿Le están robando... atacando... violando...?
(Are they robbing... attacking... raping... her/him/you?)
17. ¿Alguien intenta robarle... atacarle... violarle...?
(Is someone trying to rob... attack... rape... her/him/you?)
18. ¿Alguien le robó... atacó... violó...?
(Did someone rob... attack... rape... you/her/him?)
19. ¿Alguien se ahogó?
(Did someone choke/drown?)
20. ¿Se ahogó con comida?
(Did he/she choke with food?)
21. ¿Se ahogó en el agua?
(Did he/she drown in the water?)
22. ¿Todavía está dentro del agua?
(Is he or she still in the water?)
23. ¿En una piscina? ¿En un lago? ¿Dentro de una bañera?
(In a pool? In a lake? Inside a bathtub?)
24. ¿Hay alguna persona herida?
(Is some person wounded?)25. ¿Está herido con un cuchillo? ... ¿por disparo de balas?
(Is he wounded with a knife? ...by gunshot?) Note: To say, "is she wounded," you would use the word, "herida."

(Is he or she breathing?...bleeding?...awake?...crying?)
